We are a growing, international Business Intelligence consultancy. We have over 20 clients in the Belgian SME market (revenue €10-250M). We are looking for the right individual to help us build a strong local team in Belgium.

What You will do

In short, you will be a key player in our small but growing team. This involves:

• Lead and manage a team consisting initially of a data analyst and a data engineer (team to be grown).
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights and drive actionable outcomes.
• Visit clients to discuss project requirements, translate them into actionable next steps for your team.
• Support our sales representative in his pre-sales activities (market insights, prospect visits, RFP estimations etc).
• Work on a variety of projects (>10/year) both in nature (Business Central, Odoo, SAP, etc.) as in scope (Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc.).
• Communicate directly with the decision makers on the client side.

What You could do

Depending on your personal interests and your skills, you will also be dedicating time to the following:

• Organise community events for our clients and prospects.
• Become a local thought leader in the BI industry, e.g. by writing blog posts, speaking at events, etc.
• Helping us to turn our services into products by analysing market needs, customer feedback, etc.
• Continually enhancing your skills and knowledge, e.g. by following trainings, self-studying, getting certified, etc.
• Connecting with students and professionals to help us grow our team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in BI consulting, preferably Power BI.
• Experience in managing a small team and foster collaboration.
• Good Dutch communication skills for both internal (leading projects/IT communication) as external (visiting clients/business communication).   
• Professional level of English
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Extra points for experience with other technologies: Azure, SQL, python.
• Extra points for experience with ERP systems, such as Business Central, Odoo, SAP
• Extra points for German and/or French professional skills.

Skills, experience and education:

• some experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, namely Azure and Power BI
• scripting and programming skills (e.g. Python, Power Shell)
• some devops skills
• ETL
• Azure Data Engineer Associate (or eager to become certified, we'll support you!)
• Good communication skills, English and/or German

You will be working on fascinating client projects with report designers and project managers. You will define data pipelines, model reporting schemas, and also deploy your solutions.

The HQ is near Zurich, Switzerland, a city that regularly scores top ranks in quality of living studies. Our clients are spread throughout Europe, so we have a lot of flexibility with respect to work location.
